Telangana issue : YSR Congress Chief Jagan Reddy hospitalized
Hyderabad, 10th October 2013: The night of Wednesday seemed unfortunate for YSR Congress President Jaganmohan Reddy since his health condition deteriorated to worse as his indefinite fast entered into fifth day of the stir for demanding united Andhra. He was taken to Nizam’s Institution of Medical Sciences (NIMS) by police. The team of professional doctors from Osmania General Hospital (OGH) had reviewed his health condition and suggested to end his fast for the sake of his sound health.
DCP Malla Reddy along with his crew reached to the Lotus Pond residence of Jagan where he was on fasting and later admitted to NIMS subsequent to the OGH doctors report submission to the state government. The aforementioned doctors’ team advised him to end his ardent fasting since more than worse may be happened to his heath if he would remain stern to follow his hunger strike. After reviewing of his blood report, the level of Ketone bodies was found 4+ which rang alarming bell and the level of glucose was rolled down to 54. The OGH doctors reported, “The glucose and ketone bodies level in Jagan are alarming. He should be moved to hospital to be force-fed lest his vital organs would be damaged.”
Jagan kept on shifting his bed the entire day since prominent leaders kept on visiting him. He did not meet any visitor hailing from Seemandhra districts.
Some icons of politics as former minister P Viswaroop, MLA Adinarayana Reddy, Jammalamadugu and former IAS officer T Chandrasekhar showed their interest in joining the team of the YSR Congress. Viswaroop sent his resignation letter to the Kiran cabinet due to finding splitting of Andhra Pradesh as ‘wrong step’.
YSR honorary president Vijayamma mocked AICC general secretary in-charge of AP affairs Digvijay Singh’s statement declaring Jagan as his own son since it sounded as ‘cunning trick’ to superfluously praise Jagan. Earlier, it was congress that sentenced him for 16 months, however, he was innocent and Digvijay hails from the same party.
