Sexual harassment: FIR registered in opposition to ex-SC judge A.K. Ganguly

A First Information Report (FIR) has being lodged in the police station on previous day in opposition to retired Supreme Court Justice Ashok Kumar Ganguly because of his involvement of sexually torturing a young law intern.
When West Bengal Police refused to take action against the retired judge, NGO Bharat Bachao Sangathan registered the complaint in opposition to the culprit.
A three-member panel investigated the case of sexual torture of a young intern by a SC judge AK Ganguly. According to the reports, the committee of three judges organized six meetings to discuss about the case. It is the first time when the alleged perpetrator has been named.
After examining the victim, the rate of pressure is increasing on retired Justice Ganguly to quit the post of the chief of the West Bengal Human Rights Commission (WBHRC). According to former SC judge, he is unable to decided whether to resign from the chairmanship of WBHRC.
After the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress, the main non-compliance party, BJP, is now forcing to quit the post of the chief of the West Bengal Human Rights Commission (WBHRC). Senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj also forcing to quit and has called for Ganguly’s instant ouster as the chief of the West Bengal HRC.
