Now charger and weather updates are in your ‘Trench coat’
14th November 2013:
US technology has proven its caliber once again by inventing the world’s first smart Rain or trench coat that can make it easy to charge the phone and add-up the technology for getting updated with weather information.
To the greatest surprise, the smartphone app is also installed in it for equipping the wearer with the technology for keeping a check on weather condition via future coat dubbed as ‘M’. The coat will automatically inform the suitable time for wearing the trench coat.
There would be a breast pocket stitched in the coat through which the users can easily charge the phone by sliding it inside and hence, get it connected to the charger-dock. A New York based company assures that the charge-station inside coat will not be suspected and spotted by any onlooker. The users of the coat will have to just hang the coat on its hanger having wireless charging pad for recharging it.
The entrepreneur of Motiif Rafael Balbi informed that this remarkable coat is underway of development. But possibility conveys that it should be accessed by the people only by February 2014.
Fascinatingly claiming it a complete smart wardrobe, Balbi said, “This isn’t just a coat with charging and Wi-Fi, it’s about the future of clothing…and how clothing will communicate with each other and the end user.”
However, the price of this advanced coat has not yet been disclosed but as per Balbi’s assurance, it would be fixed not more than that of the cost of an average trench coat.
Now-a-days, Motiif is busy in accepting the applications for an alpha tester programme.
The participants will get a chance to peep at the backdrop of the store via which they will get familiar with the technique of making that coat; have conversation session with engineers and even will get a chance to try the M by wearing it. At last, a handful of alpha testers to put on the coat for 7 days or a fortnight at a time will be selected by Motiif. Eventually, the final conclusion will be handed over by them to the company to know the impressions of its invention, i.e. the M.
