A Silent Protest Against The Wine Company’s Brutality at Cyber Hub
People from all over Gurgaon, Delhi and NCR gathered at Cyber Hub, Gurgaon this evening for a demonstration against the brutal attack of bouncers on four innocent youth who came to party on 28th March at The Wine Company. More than 300 people took out a peaceful candle march to protest against the merciless thrashing of Rahul Lakshman and Ishant Aggarwal and their two friends who indulged into a scuffle with the owners over the mishandling of bill and later were attacked by more than a dozen bouncers. A March initiated by a handful of people instantly grabbed eyeballs of the onlookers and they joined the protest in no time. The protest was taken out to seek strict action against the bar and the culprits.
Roshan Lal Gorakhpuria, Father of one of the victims Ishant Aggarwal said- I want justice for my son. It was a clear attempt to murder case. We want authorities and police to take stringent action against the The Wine Company and the bouncers.
Protest was held in the presence of Police personnel at the venue to ensure the situation remained under control.
One of the major demands of the protestors included a check on the hiring of Bouncers. They demanded that their should be proper licence for Bouncers and a protocol should be followed while hiring them with proper training.
This is not the first time Bouncers have their devil side. There have been many incidences where people were harassed by the bouncers who happens to be our protectors.
