Splendid collection of Indian culture at Delhi Haat
New Delhi,3 December: Various stalls presented a splendid collection of Indian culture at Delhi Haat (INA) now in these days. Union Textiles Minister Santosh Gangwar inaugurated the National Handicrafts Fair “Master Creation” at Haat on December 2.Master artisans and weavers from all over India are participating in the fair. The fair, which will be on till December 15, has been conceptualized with a view to provide a direct marketing platform for innovative products developed by 120 handicrafts and 42 handlooms master artisans/weavers from all across the country.
The event showcases the best of Indian handicrafts in quality, design and versatility from all over the country. The Council proposes to organize the event in a big way by giving wide publicity and by organizing a thematic display at Dilli Haat for the benefit of the master craft person/weavers. The fair is being promoted and marketed by Council of Handicrafts Development Corporation (COHANDS), with financial assistance from the office of Development Commissioner (Handicrafts). Secretary (Textiles) was the guest of honour; Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) & (Handlooms) and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.} else {
