Indian romantic comedy film, Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, which is directed by Punit Malhotra, is released all over India today. Kareena Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Imran Khan and various actors played their roles and Karan Johar produced this romantic film under the banner of Dharma Productions.
A scientist named Mohan visited a village to meet his grandmother Kaveri in 2004. This village is located in very poor state, in which there is lack of electricity and water. Still, the residents of the village continue to stay in the dark of the village.
Same time, architecture Sriram Venkat also lands to this village. The role of Sriram is played by actor Imran Khan who returns from US and stays in the village. He returned from US to meet his ex-lover Dia, which is played by Kareena Kapoor, and to win her heart. Dia is an NGO member, who is in the little village to help poor and needy ones. Sriram planned to build a bridge in the village to her heart. And as time moves on, he comes face to face with a corrupt collector.
The story of this movie untwists in a small and constricted space. Not only that, in the whole movie Kareena stick to six costumes and the film’s set too seemed small.
Dia is a person, who does something for the poor ones, while Sriram is a fake person and thinks that Dia need to be chill. Because of their differences, the couple breaks up their relation. Enter second girl who’s set to marry Sriram. Turns out, this new girl is already fallen in love with a Punjabi boy.
According to the audience, the role of Imran makes them to sleep. But, Kareena played well. The special appearance of Isha Gupta did a fine job. Overall, the story is very poor and direction too. The songs of this movie seem nice, which was composed by Vishal and Shekhar.
