Google Gives Rs 1.27 Crore Salary Package for Delhi Student
New Delhi,20 November: Breaking the myth of IIT students faring better in job placements, Chetan Kakkar, a Delhi Technology University (DTU) student grabbed an envious offer of Rs 1.27 crore package with search-engine giant Google. Last year an IIT-Indore student, Gaurav Agrawal made the headlines for bagging an Rs 1.7 crore salary package with Google. Chetan is a final year student now and will be taking up the offer after finishing his education in 2016. $1,90,000 per annum breaks DTU’s previous record of Rs 93 lakh offer given to a studgoogleent in 2014.
Recently, Prateek Narang, from Jalandhar, also a student of DTU created a buzz in social media after winning ‘Hackathon 2015′, a competition organized by Google. Even Indian-origin Google CEO, Sunder Pichai congratulated Prateek for his achievement. DTU is known for specialising in IT and Computer Science department.
