Film Censor Board Chief Expected to be Axed

New Delhi,27 November: Film censor board chairman Pahlaj Nihalani is expected to be removed from his position very soon. This is because of a video tribute he made for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Pahlaj Nihalani has been facing a lot of heat for chopping the duration of a kiss scene in the latest Bond movie ‘Spectre’. However Nihalani’s ouster decision is not due to the Bond kiss episode but because of a video tribute he made for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The quality of the song ‘Mera Desh Hai Mahan’ has been criticised due to its bad CGI and production. The video which according to Nihalani glorifies India but has images of an expressway construction in Dubai, Nasa’s space shuttle (without the logo), the Moscow International Business Centre, Japan’s HTV-3 exiting the International Space Station, and the Make In India lion on the International Space Station. The video has caused severe embarrassment to the government and hence the Censor Board Chief is expected to be shown the door soon.
