Censorship should be eradicated : Shyam Benegal

New Delhi :As per statement ,hardened filmmaker ShyamBenegal opposed to increasing hazard of the censorboard , he announced that he is not convinced by censorship of individuality & it should be eradicated as soon as possible .The head of censorboard Pahlaj Nihlani has been condemned publically as well as by his associates & Bollywood actors after disclosing that the kissing scenes duration has been diminished in the James Bond movie “Spectre”.

Benegal,80,widely known for his movies like “Junoon, Bhumika, Nishant”attributed to accompany radical cinema in 70’s ,told the present day series of development is not amiable .”In one word ,I would say abolish censorship .I personally don’t believe in censorship ….i’m concerned about the imposition of censorship here,which has no real purpose except to come in the way of your expression . That’s the kind of censorship I oppose .”Benegal highlighted in his speech of IFFI.shyam

He also stated that there is undeniable number of discussions executing in the press regarding bowdlerization & chairperson how it does not entreat to huge people .He also said that it doesn’t make any perception &it has no point at all .Benegal indicated that only by choosing innovative proficiency a producer or director can try & break out of these precarious censorship affairs .

The humanity genuinely can avoid censorship & they do the same .In the matter of sex issues , lots of methods are used by filmmakers to go past censorship .Without the knowledge of official that what is going on ,this takes place”,he said.
